Withdrawal Procedures & Fees

01

Notice Period

A minimum of one month's notice must be provided before withdrawing a student from the school.

02

Application Process

The Transfer Certificate (TC) or Migration Certificate will be issued only upon the receipt of a written application signed by both parents.

03

Clearance of Dues

No certificate will be issued until all school dues have been paid in full.

04

Certificate Fees

The following fees apply and must be submitted alongside the written application:

Standard School Certificate Rs. 100/-
Transfer Certificate (Class X & XII) Rs. 300/-
Migration Certificate (Class X & XII) Rs. 300/-
Out-of-State Transfer Certificate Rs. 500/-

Note: For TCs issued for schools outside West Bengal, a fee of Rs. 500/- is charged to cover the extra expenses incurred for the mandatory counter-signature by the CISCE office.

Student Record Corrections & Council Data Guidelines

01

Critical Accuracy for Board Data

The personal information provided during admission—including the correct spellings of the student's name, parents' names, and official category/caste details—is of utmost importance. These details are submitted directly to the Council (CISCE) for official registration, board examinations, and final certification.

02

Modification Fee

Once initial admission data is submitted, any subsequent requests from parents or students to change or correct data (such as name spellings, parent details, or documentation) will attract a mandatory administrative and processing fee of Rs. 600/-.

03

Mandatory Documentation

All requests for data modification must be submitted in writing via a formal application signed by the parent or guardian, accompanied by valid legal and official supporting documents (such as Birth Certificates, Aadhaar cards, or Gazette notifications where applicable).

04

Timely Compliance

Corrections must be requested and finalized well before the Council registration window closes. Delayed requests may lead to permanent discrepancies in official board documents, for which the school cannot be held responsible.

Dismissal Policy

Bishop Morrow School maintains strict discipline to ensure the welfare of the student body. Dismissal may occur under the following circumstances:

05

Academic Performance

Any student failing two years in succession in the same class, or failing twice in three consecutive years, will have his/her name struck off the rolls and will be granted a Transfer Certificate.

06

Grounds for Dismissal

A student may be dismissed for irregular attendance, non-payment of fees, habitual late arrival, disobedience, or conduct that is injurious to the moral tone of the school or incompatible with strict discipline.

07

Principal’s Discretion

Notwithstanding any other provision in the prospectus, the Principal reserves the right, at her absolute discretion, to request that any parent withdraw their ward from the school at any time.

08

Re-admission

As a rule, any student who has been dismissed or has taken a Transfer Certificate will not be considered for re-admission.

09

Final Authority

The Principal's decision is final and binding in all cases concerning dismissal or withdrawal.

10

Return of School Property

At the time of withdrawal, students must return all school property, including library books, sports equipments, and laboratory materials. Failure to do so will result in an additional fine or the withholding of the Transfer Certificate.

11

Processing Time

Please allow at least seven working days for the processing of any certificate following the submission of a valid application and clearance of all dues.
