To promote flexibility and broader friendships, students may be shuffled across sections and houses at the beginning of the academic year or whenever required. The Principal will not receive any applications for changing houses.
Bishop Morrow School strictly adheres to the principles of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act to ensure a safe, secure, and harassment-free environment.
The school maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding any conduct that violates the safety and dignity of a child. All staff and stakeholders are expected to uphold these standards.
Any incident of inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or abuse must be reported immediately to the school’s designated Child Protection Committee or the Principal.

Physical and cyber-bullying (including via platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram) is strictly prohibited and will be punished.
Students must address all teachers and staff with respect and politeness. Arrogant or challenging behavior is forbidden; students are expected to greet teachers, support staff, and non-teaching staff properly.
Vacations are notified in the official school calendar. These holiday periods are fixed and may not be extended or anticipated under any circumstances.
Any unauthorized absence during the days immediately preceding a vacation, or any delay in returning to school following a vacation, must be promptly reported to the Principal.
To ensure compliance with the required number of working days as prescribed by the Council, unscheduled holidays will be compensated for by conducting classes on Saturdays or other designated dates as required.
Parents are strongly advised not to finalise travel arrangements (such as booking flights or train tickets) that conflict with the school calendar, as leave for early departure or late return will generally not be granted.
Any request for an exceptional extension of vacation must be submitted in writing to the Principal at least one week in advance. Approval is granted only in rare, documented cases of emergency.
If a student is unable to return on time due to medical reasons, a medical certificate from a registered practitioner must be submitted immediately upon the student's return to school to justify the delay.
The diary is the official record of a student's academic performance and conduct. It must be brought to school daily, maintained with utmost care, and signed by the Principal or Primary-in-charge. Losing a diary is a serious fault; a replacement fee of Rs. 250/- is required. No remark may be cancelled by anyone other than the Principal or Primary-in-charge.
Every student must possess a school-issued ID card, renewed annually. A lost ID card incurs a replacement fee of Rs. 100/-.
Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. All articles should be clearly marked with the student's name and class; the school is not responsible for unwritten/unlabelled articles.
Staff are not authorised to answer queries directly. All official communication will be conducted via the school app. The Principal is not responsible for misinformation received through unauthorized persons, media, or other electronic channels.

"Parents are not permitted to communicate with teachers during school hours. Parents are required to leave their wards at the school gate. If a meeting is necessary, the school will contact the parents directly via the official school communication channel."

The uniform is a sacred symbol of the ethos of the school. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination. Visiting public places like restaurants or multiplexes in school uniform is a serious breach of discipline.
The school is a plastic-free zone. Plastic must be disposed of in dustbins only.

Keeping classrooms, corridors, verandas, and school grounds clean is a collective responsibility. Students must ensure that their immediate surroundings—including desks and floors—remain free of paper, food wrappers, ink spills, and debris.
Every student is expected to take pride in their school campus, treating school property with the same care and respect they would show in their own homes.

Cultivate the virtues of sincerity, modesty, purity, humility, obedience, and kindness during your youth.
Avoid sins, specifically taking the name of God in vain, impurity in thought, word, or deed, stealing and abusing.
Recognize that all learning and wealth are gifts; give glory to God for your abilities and achievements rather than boasting.
Students should treat teachers and seniors/instructors with the respect due to elder brothers and sisters.
Greet teachers whenever you meet them, and rise when they enter or leave the classroom.
The first duty of a student is to complete tasks assigned by teachers.
If a teacher is delayed, wait in silence, reviewing your lessons. Avoid whispering or interrupting during class. If a teacher does not reach the class within five minutes after the bell, the monitor should report to the Principal.
Remember that teachers advise and correct you for your own welfare.
At Bishop Morrow School, we recognise that every member of the institution contributes to the overall educational environment. Students are expected to extend the same level of courtesy and dignity to our support and non-teaching staff as they do to their teachers.
Students must address all support staff and non-teaching personnel with respect and politeness at all times.
They must pay attention to greeting all support and non-teaching staff properly whenever they are encountered on the school premises.
Arrogant, challenging, or dismissive behaviour toward any staff member is strictly forbidden.
Students should recognise the essential role staff play in the daily functioning of the school and express gratitude for their service.
Students are expected to use respectful titles when addressing staff and avoid using derogatory nicknames, demeaning language, or shouting.
Students should support the work of the non-teaching staff by maintaining cleanliness in their classrooms and the school grounds. Keeping the floor free of paper and trash is a sign of respect for the staff who maintain our facilities.
No sermon is as efficacious as a good example; strive to edify your peers.
No discrimination - Do not ridicule anyone for physical defects or academic struggles; treat everyone with kindness.
Help one another gladly. In games, make no distinctions between companions and make sacrifices for the team cheerfully.
When asked by the authority about the conduct of others, speak the truth to remedy evil, avoiding exaggeration.
Do not write on walls, maps, or blackboards (unless called upon). Take care of textbooks and notebooks.
Immediately hand over any found articles to the Principal/Vice Principal/Primary in charge.
Keep the floor clean; a neat exterior reflects a pure soul.
Enter and leave in an orderly manner. Applaud generously but not boisterously, and remain seated unless directed otherwise.
Always speak in English in the school premises. Maintain a high standard of conversation at all times.
Maintain absolute silence during assemblies and when moving through the corridoors.
