Class I & II Curriculum: The Primary Years
Transitioning from the foundational years to the primary stage, Bishop Morrow School focuses on strengthening core academic competencies while broadening the student's perspective. Our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, linguistic fluency, and a holistic understanding of the world.
1. Languages
English & Vernacular Proficiency:- English (Language & Literature): We move beyond basic literacy to focus on reading comprehension, creative writing, and the appreciation of literature.
- 2nd Language (Bengali/Hindi): Continued development of the mother tongue is vital for cultural connection, focusing on grammar, vocabulary expansion, and reading fluency.
2. Core Academics
Foundations of Reasoning & Inquiry:- Mathematics: The curriculum shifts toward abstract thinking, covering basic arithmetic operations, number systems, and logical problem-solving.
- Environmental Studies (EVS): Students explore the natural and social world, integrating basic scientific concepts with social awareness.

Character & Awareness:- Value Education: Spiritual and ethical growth. Catholic students participate in Catechism, and all students engage in Moral Science for values.
- General Knowledge (GK): To foster global awareness, GK lessons provide facts about the world, history, geography, and current affairs.
4. Holistic Enrichment
All-rounded Development:- Computer Studies: Early exposure to digital literacy, teaching basic terminology and responsible use.
- Art & Craft: Dedicated time to explore artistic creativity through various media.

Primary Academic Program: Classes III, IV & V
